ASK DR. SCIENCE |

I have a coworker who
bought out the remaining stock of Dreamcast titles at our local Wal-Mart
for 5 bucks a pop and has proceeded (with success, I might add) to sell
them on eBay for no less than 3 times what he paid for them. (depending
on title, of course, I know he had at least 2 copies each of Phantasy
Star Online and Quake 3 Arena and 4 copies of NFL 2k1 which are selling
for more) Once he sells the lot of them, he'll have a tidy profit to show,
but at what cost? I told him he's going straight to hell for exploiting
the dead. What do you guys think?

Now, really, are we the proper people to ask regarding the morality of exploiting the dead? |

He's just another nail in our self-made coffin, I fear. I'm sorry, but if you're expecting me to express anything other than self-pity, you've brought up the wrong subject. Just tell your friend that I hope he's happy...
